Most of the class times have moved up, in order to allow students to get home and in bed earlier. Please see attachment link below, and print out your copy. Merit Badges for August Training Cycle:
Confidence: Students will lead the matchat training time at the end of the class. Students should pick one tenet of TaeKwonDo, and focus on the word, the defenition, and a story that relates to the tenet. Students may use props, a book, notecards, etc. to assist in the 1-3 minute speaking segment. You must schedule your matchat time with Mr. Bailey or Ms. Amy. Please do not wait until the last week in order to complete your merit badge.
Kicking Drill: Students will utilize the round kick (tiger cubs will use front kicks), as well as their best kicking leg to determine the amount of round kicks they can do in 30 seconds. Junior and Youth students must earn 1,000 Round Kicks, and Tiger Cubs must earn 100 front kicks in order to earn their merit badge.
