UPCOMING EVENTS AND REMINDERS

• Feb 24th- Feb 26th: Buddy Week. Bring a friend to Tiger-Rock and teach them martial arts while showing your spirit with our dress up themes. Buddy week themes are as follows:

o Wednesday: Tourist Day. Dress up like a tourist with your Tiger-rock pants

o Thursday: Fight Night. Everyone be sure to bring your sparring gear for our first sparring night of the cycle! New green belts, come prepared to learn how to gear up and get your first sparring night under your belt. PLEASE BRING YOUR PARENTS SO THEY CAN LEARN TO GEAR UP ALSO!

o Friday: Celebrity Look-Alike Day and NERF GUN WAR. Dress like your favorite celebrity and take up your Nerf arms for a day of Nerf War with your friends! Tiger-Rock Pants not required!

• Feb 27th: Women’s Self-Defense Seminar (2:00pm-4:00pm): Join us for a FREE women’s self-defense seminar. Event is open to the public and free to all!

• Tuesday, March 1st: TOURNAMENT PREP PARENTS’ DAY OUT (8:30am-3:30pm): $25/person

o Leave the kiddos with us during this in-service day for a tournament prep course the week of our national tournament! We will be working on all of the tournament events including forms, sparring, one-steps, free design, and board breaking. See front desk for more information or to register today!

• Friday, March 4th: ACADEMY CLOSED FOR TOURNAMENT! See you in Chattanooga!

• Saturday, March 5th: NATIONAL TOURNAMENT: 1150 Carter Street, Chattanooga, TN. 37402 ACADEMY CLOSED

o See front desk to register for tournament. Every student is encouraged to compete!

• March 14th-18th: SPRING BREAK CAMP: $195/person (discounts for siblings) for entire camp, $45/day

o Join us for a week of adventure and fun as we go on fieldtrips, train hard, and play harder! Every day has its own activity and its own journey! See front desk for more information or to register today!

• March 15th: DEMO TEAM PERFORMANCE AT HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS GAME (7:00pm): $20/ticket

o Come out and see the Harlem Globetrotters as well as our fantastic Demo Team who will be performing as the half-time show. Invite your friends and family to this one-in-a-lifetime experience! Tickets are available at the front desk for a discounted price of $20 (box office $45/value). 

• March 21st-26th: ATTENDANCE STRIPE AWARDED

o Attendance stripes awarded for meeting attendance requirements (Tiger Cubs=8 classes, All Jr, Teen, and Adults=10 classes). Class requirements must be met BEFORE March 21st.

• April 9th: COLOR BELT TESTING: More info to come!!

• April 12th: SECONDARY TESTING (4:30pm): If you cannot make it to the regularly scheduled color belt testing, Secondary Testing is offered for an additional $25. Please see front desk to schedule secondary testing.

• April 12th: AWARDS CEREMONY (6:00pm): Receive your awards and new belts and congratulate your fellow martial artists as they do the same! Full uniform is required; that means BELT, JACKET TOP, BLACK TIGER-ROCK PANTS, and RED TIGER-ROCK T-SHIRT!

• YOU NEED YOUR OWN FOCUS TARGET AND BAG GLOVES: Please see front desk to order.
